The bike builder
How does the bike builder work?
Open any bike and choose the frame size and paint finish on the page. Press Customize to open the builder: pick the frame colour (solid, pearl or metallic, 24 colours), the decal set and the logo colour, and watch the bike change in the picture. Press Done, choose the other options, and add the bike to the cart with its configuration.
Is the picture in the builder exactly what I get?
The builder stacks the frame, decal and logo layers of your bike in the colours you chose, so the combination is right. Screens show colours differently, so take the picture as a close guide, not a paint sample.
Does the price change when I choose parts?
Yes. Every choice shows its price, and the total under the form updates as you go. The cart shows the same total and lists every choice.
Can I save a configuration?
The configuration is saved with the cart item. Log in before you build and the cart stays in your account.
Sizes and parts
Which frame size do I need?
See the Size guide. M 54 fits most riders from 170 to 178 cm. Between two sizes, take the smaller one for a sporty position and the larger one for comfort.
What is the difference between solid, pearl and metallic paint?
Solid is a single colour coat. Pearl has a fine shimmer that changes in the light. Metallic has a visible flake and the strongest shine. Pearl and metallic cost a little more because they need extra coats.
Gloss or matte?
Gloss is the classic shiny clear coat, easy to clean. Matte is soft and hides small scratches; it needs a matte-safe cleaner.
Decals and personalisation
Can I put my own name or logo on the frame?
Yes. Choose Name on the top tube and type the name, or pick Design it online or Upload my artwork under Custom decal artwork. For decals you apply yourself, see the Frame & Helmet Decal Kit.
What file should I upload?
A vector PDF or SVG, or a PNG of at least 300 dpi at print size. See the Decal guide.
Orders, delivery and returns
How long does it take?
10 to 12 working days to paint, build and test ride, 3 to 5 days shipping. The express build option cuts the build to 5 working days. See Delivery & assembly.
Can I return a bike?
Unused standard bikes can be returned within 30 days. Bikes with a custom name or artwork are made for you; we repair or replace them if they are faulty. See Returns & refunds.
Do you build bikes for clubs and companies?

About the pictures
Are the bike pictures photographs?
No. The bikes are drawn in layers, the same way the builder stacks them, so every one of the 24 colours, 15 decal sets and 15 logo colours has an exact picture. The few photographs on the site are public-domain photos listed on Photo credits.
