Five things to know before you design frame decals

Decals make a bike yours. Five checks before you press Save in the designer:

1. Keep it long and low. The down tube print area is 50 x 8 cm, the top tube 30 x 4 cm.
2. Stay inside the dotted line. Keep text 3 mm inside the safe area so it is not cut when the vinyl is trimmed.
3. Use contrast. Light decals on dark frames, dark decals on light frames; check it in the builder first.
4. Upload vector artwork when you can. PDF or SVG stays sharp; a PNG should be 300 dpi at print size.
5. Check the spelling twice. Printed decals are made for you and cannot be returned for a typing mistake.
