Binding
- Layflat: pages open to 180 degrees, thick photographic paper, 24 to 80 pages. Best for panoramas and wide spreads.
- Hardcover: a rigid cover wrapped in your photo or in cloth, 20 to 80 pages. Best for books to keep.
- Softcover: a flexible cover, 20 to 64 pages. Best for minis, magazines and gifts in numbers.
Choosing the page count
A rule of thumb is two to four photos per spread. A weekend trip fits in 24 to 30 pages, a holiday in 40 to 60, a year in 60 to 80. You can leave pages for captions.
