Choose the case type
- Slim hard case: thinnest, full-wrap print on the back and edges.
- Tough dual-layer (+7 dollars): hard shell inside a flexible bumper with raised corners.
- Clear flexible: see-through, the print floats over the phone. White areas print white and cover the phone colour.
- Magnet-ring compatible (+6 dollars): ring built in for wireless chargers and mounts. Keep text out of the ring.
Choose the size
Model A is for 5.4-inch phones, B for 6.1, C for 6.3, D for 6.7 and E for 6.9-inch phones. Match the screen size and check the camera layout shown in the designer.
Prepare your own file
- Print area: 74 by 152 mm, plus 2 mm bleed on every side: 78 by 156 mm.
- Resolution: 300 dpi, which is 921 by 1843 pixels. Photos of 1200 by 2400 pixels are comfortable.
- Safe zone: keep text and faces 3 mm inside the trim line (the dotted line in the designer).
- Format: PNG or PDF, RGB colour. Maximum 20 MB.
- Text: at least 6 pt; very thin lines can disappear in print.
- Camera: the cut-out is drawn on top of your design in the designer. Do not put anything important under it.
Tips for a good photo case
- Pick a picture with the subject away from the camera corner.
- Use a sharp picture; the designer warns when the resolution is low.
- Use matte for photos with dark areas and gloss for bright, colourful art.
