Printed drinkware lasts for years if you know what each type can take.
Ceramic mugs
With dye-sublimation the ink becomes part of the coating, so ordinary white and two-tone ceramic mugs can go in the dishwasher and the microwave. Avoid scouring pads on the print and very hot, strong detergents over many cycles.
Magic mugs
The heat-reactive coating is more delicate. Wash by hand with warm water and do not microwave. Over time hot dishwasher cycles dull the reveal.
Enamel mugs
Enamel is tough but can chip if dropped. Wash by hand, and do not leave coffee standing for days.
Steel tumblers and travel mugs
The vacuum wall can be damaged by the dishwasher’s heat and the lid seals wear faster. Wash by hand and dry upright with the lid off.
Glass
Hand wash glass and never soak the bamboo lid.
