Every design published by a Creator is offered under one or more licences. The licence says what the buyer may do with the product they make from it. Each design page lists the licences on offer, with their terms, before you buy.
The three licence types
- Standard: personal or single-business use of the products you buy. You may not resell printed goods. Standard is pre-selected, and it is used if you make no choice.
- Commercial: you may resell the printed goods. The design file itself may not be shared. A licence fee per unit may apply.
- Exclusive: when the order is paid, the design is withdrawn from sale so nobody else can buy it, and you may resell printed goods. It costs more, and it is bought as one unit.
The marketplace can edit these names and terms, or add its own types. The terms you buy under stay with your order even if they change later.
What a buyer receives
- The licence name and version shown on the order line.
- A printable licence certificate, linked from your order e-mail and from My account.
- The product with the design printed on it. A licence does not give you the artwork file.
Credit
Ask the Creator or read the design page if credit is required. Where a Creator asks for attribution, follow it as the terms say.
What is never licensed
- Trademarks, logos and brand names.
- The likeness of a real person without their permission.
- Characters or artwork the Creator does not own.
A licence on this marketplace covers only the Creator’s own work. It never gives you rights over someone else’s brand.
Reporting a problem
If a design copies your work or uses your trademark, use Report infringement. The team reviews it and may take the design off sale while it does. Creators who want to publish designs can read Sell with us.
