Paint is personal: solid colours are the classic choice, pearl adds a shimmer, metallic the most shine. Matte hides small scratches; gloss is easiest to clean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wheels<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alloy wheels are tough and cheap to replace. Light alloy wheels make a bike feel livelier on climbs. 50 mm carbon wheels are fast on the flat and need more care in crosswinds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gears<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eleven gears are plenty for most riders.
